Tata Motors has launched the updated 2026 Tiago EV in India, with prices starting at an ex-showroom rate of Rs 6.99 lakh. This refreshed electric hatchback boasts a revised exterior design, a completely new cabin, and an expanded list of features, along with improved safety equipment. The Tiago EV continues to be one of India's most affordable electric cars, now presenting a more modern aesthetic and feature-rich package.
Key upgrades include a new floating 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a redesigned digital instrument cluster, and a new steering wheel, contributing to a more premium interior feel. Safety has also been bolstered with six airbags now standard, alongside a 360-degree camera and blind-view monitor. The car retains its existing battery options, a 19.2kWh and a 24kWh pack, offering claimed ranges of 226km and 285km respectively. Tata Motors is also offering a Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) scheme, making the Tiago EV even more accessible.
