(SMIPL) has officially opened bookings for its first electric scooter, the Suzuki e-ACCESS, marking the company's global entry into the electric two-wheeler segment with India as the launch market. The announcement on January 9, 2026, also revealed a new dual-tone color option for the e-ACCESS, bringing the total choices to four.
Powered by Suzuki e-Technology and featuring a Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery, the e-ACCESS boasts a claimed battery life up to four times longer than conventional NMC batteries. The scooter is equipped with a 4.1 kW motor producing 15 Nm of torque, offering consistent acceleration. Riders will benefit from three riding modes (Eco, Ride A, and Ride B), reverse mode, and regenerative braking, all built on a lightweight chassis for enhanced stability and agile handling.
