JSW MG Motor India has announced a significant delivery milestone for its recently launched Hector Tomahawk EV, with 50 units handed over to customers in Surat on a single day. This achievement comes less than a month after the electric SUV's market introduction on September 28. The Hector Tomahawk is available in both five- and seven-seat configurations, featuring electric and plug-in hybrid powertrain options.
The Hector Tomahawk EV is built on MG's ADAPT architecture and features a 69.2 kWh MAGIC battery, powering an electric motor that delivers 150 kW (approximately 204 PS) and 310 Nm of torque. It boasts a certified range of 517 km and supports up to 90 kW DC fast charging, allowing a 30-80% charge in about 35 minutes. Acceleration from 0-100 km/h is achieved in 8.2 seconds. For a limited number of bookings, MG also offers the EV under its Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) program, with introductory prices starting at ₹13.99 lakh plus a battery rental charge.
