Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Unveils Extensive New Two-Wheeler Lineup for India, Including Flex-Fuel and Electric Models

TL;DR

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India revealed ten new two-wheelers for the Indian market, including flex-fuel and electric scooters, cruisers, and adventure motorcycles, signifying a major expansion in its product portfolio.

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has made a significant announcement, unveiling an expanded portfolio of ten new two-wheelers for the Indian market on July 24, 2026. This comprehensive launch includes seven all-new models and three refreshed variants with updated color options, signaling Honda’s aggressive push across diverse segments. The new lineup encompasses adventure touring, cruisers, roadsters, electric mobility, and flex-fuel technology, reflecting a strategic shift to cater to evolving customer preferences beyond basic utility and fuel efficiency.

Among the key unveilings are the ADV 160, a city adventure scooter that will be India's first E85 flex-fuel compatible scooter, and the QC3 electric scooter, set to be Honda's third EV offering in the country. The ADV 160 features an aggressive design, a 157cc liquid-cooled engine, and a focus on both style and practicality. The QC3 EV boasts a non-removable 3kWh battery with a claimed IDC range of 145km and fast-charging capabilities. Additionally, Honda expanded its cruiser segment with the Rebel 300 and Rebel 500, alongside dual-sport motorcycles like the XR 300L and XR 300 Rally, and the retro-inspired CB 500 roadster.

HMSI also reiterated its commitment to increased localization of global models in India, marking a crucial step in enhancing its manufacturing capabilities within the country. This product offensive comes as Honda intensifies its competition with rivals for market leadership, aiming to capture a larger share of the growing premium two-wheeler segment (150cc and above). The models are expected to be launched in phases, with pricing and detailed timelines to be announced closer to their respective market introductions.
