TL;DR

Honda launched its XR300L and XR300 Rally adventure motorcycles in India on October 5, 2026, starting at ₹1.83 lakh, targeting off-road enthusiasts with local manufacturing.

Honda 2-Wheelers India has expanded its dual-sport motorcycle offerings with the launch of the XR300L and XR300 Rally in India on October 5, 2026. These new adventure bikes bring the XR nameplate to the Indian market, catering to off-road enthusiasts. The XR300L is priced at ₹1.83 lakh (ex-showroom), while the more equipped XR300 Rally comes at ₹2.08 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings for both models have commenced at Honda BigWing dealerships across the country.

Both motorcycles share a similar mechanical foundation, likely based on the Honda CB300F platform, featuring a 293.5cc single-cylinder air/oil-cooled engine. The XR300L is designed as a lighter, more basic off-roader with a slim profile, high ground clearance, and wire-spoke wheels (21-inch front, 18-inch rear). Key features include long-travel suspension, front and rear disc brakes with switchable dual-channel ABS, switchable traction control, and an LCD instrument display.

The XR300 Rally, positioned as an adventure tourer, includes additional equipment for longer rides. It boasts a larger fuel tank, a taller windscreen, extra bodywork, and rally-style aesthetics. It also features a 5-inch TFT instrument display, knuckle guards, and the same robust suspension and braking system as the XR300L. Both models are locally manufactured in India, indicating Honda's commitment to the domestic market.
