Furthermore, the electric SUV will undergo rigorous assessment in extreme heat and monsoon conditions, alongside an evaluation of its charging performance across different infrastructures to ensure everyday usability for Indian consumers.

Honda has earmarked an investment of ₹1,200 crore for this project, which involves retooling the Tapukara plant to serve as a crucial manufacturing hub for both domestic sales and global exports. The commercial launch of the Honda 0 Alpha in India is slated for the financial year 2026-27, reinforcing the brand's commitment to electric mobility in the subcontinent.
