BSA Scrambler 650 Set for India Launch on April 23rd

TL;DR

The BSA Scrambler 650, based on the Goldstar 650 platform, is scheduled to launch in India on April 23, 2026, featuring a 652cc engine and off-road focused enhancements.

Classic Legends, under the Mahindra umbrella, is preparing to launch the BSA Scrambler 650 in India on April 23, 2026. This marks a significant move for the brand as it introduces what could be its first-ever scrambler motorcycle to the Indian market, building on its presence in select European markets. The motorcycle is based on the Goldstar 650 platform, which is already available in India since 2024.

Powering the BSA Scrambler 650 will be the same 652cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled DOHC engine found in the Goldstar, producing 45 BHP and 55 Nm of torque, mated to a 5-speed gearbox. Designed with off-road capability in mind, it is expected to feature revised tyres and suspension, including a 41mm telescopic fork and twin shock absorbers with increased travel. The Scrambler 650 will likely retain a classic retro look with spoke wheels, directly rivaling models like the Royal Enfield Bear 650.
