BSA has re-entered the adventure motorcycle market with the global unveiling of its new Thunderbolt model at EICMA 2025. This marks the fourth launch for the brand since its revival under Classic Legends, combining BSA's design heritage with contemporary technology. The Thunderbolt revives a historic nameplate, aiming to capture the essence of touring and off-road exploration.
Powering the Thunderbolt is a 334cc liquid-cooled DOHC single-cylinder engine, which is Euro 5+ compliant and paired with a six-speed gearbox. Designed for long-haul capabilities, it features a large 15.5-litre fuel tank. The motorcycle also comes equipped with three ABS modes (Rain, Road, Off-Road), traction control, USD front forks, and a preload-adjustable monoshock rear suspension for dynamic on- and off-road performance.
