Tata Motors Outlines Aggressive EV Expansion Plan with Upcoming Models

Following the recent launch of the updated Punch EV, Tata Motors, a leader in India's electric vehicle market, has revealed plans for three more significant EV introductions in 2026. This aggressive roadmap includes a facelift for the entry-level Tiago.ev, a production version of the highly anticipated Sierra EV, and the debut of the premium Avinya. The updated Tiago.ev is expected to feature cosmetic revisions and potentially a larger battery pack to enhance its appeal and range. The Sierra EV, an electric iteration of the iconic SUV, is slated for a mid-2026 launch and will come with substantial battery packs and a dual-motor setup in higher variants. Towards the end of 2026, Tata will introduce the Avinya, a premium electric vehicle that will establish an independent sales network, signifying the company's ambition to cater to diverse segments of the growing EV market.
