Royal Enfield has officially ventured into the electric vehicle market with the launch of its first electric motorcycle, the 'Flying Flea C6'. This strategic move by the iconic brand aims to merge its classic retro aesthetics with modern electric propulsion. The Flying Flea C6 is priced at ₹2.79 lakh (ex-showroom), with an alternative option of ₹1.99 lakh when opting for a Battery-as-a-Service plan. Bookings for the motorcycle commenced on April 10, 2026, with initial sales exclusively through a dedicated showroom in Bengaluru.

Inspired by its 1940s wartime predecessor, the electric C6 features a 3.91 kWh battery and a permanent magnet motor that delivers 20.6 bhp and 60 Nm of torque. Weighing a mere 124 kg, it can accelerate from 0-60 kmph in 3.7 seconds and achieve a top speed of 115 kmph. The motorcycle boasts an Indian Driving Cycle (IDC) range of up to 154 km and is equipped with a 2.2 kW onboard charger, allowing for a full charge in approximately two hours and fifteen minutes using a 16-amp wall socket. Its distinctive design includes a forged aluminum girder fork and a finned magnesium casing for the battery.
