Norton, the iconic British motorcycle manufacturer, has revealed the comprehensive technical specifications for its upcoming Atlas adventure motorcycle range, comprising the Atlas, Atlas Apex, Atlas GT, and Atlas GT Apex variants. All versions will be powered by a 585cc DOHC parallel-twin engine with a 270-degree crankshaft, producing 69 bhp of power and 57.5 Nm of peak torque, mated to a 6-speed gearbox with an assist and slipper clutch.
The Atlas range boasts impressive features for an adventure motorcycle, including five riding modes (Urban, Rain, Sport, Tour, and Enduro) and a 6-axis IMU for advanced electronic rider aids. These aids encompass dual-channel ABS, traction control, wheelie control, rear lift and slide control, and drag torque control, along with cruise control.
