The Norton Atlas 585 adventure motorcycle, recently unveiled for international markets, is expected to be launched in India with production slated to take place at TVS' Hosur facility. TVS acquired Norton Motorcycles in 2020 and has been working towards reviving the iconic British brand.
Designed as a proper adventure tourer, the Atlas 585 boasts a tall stance, muscular front end, sleek split LED headlamps, and a transparent windscreen. It features fully adjustable KYB suspension and dual 310 mm front disc brakes. Powering the Atlas is a 585cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine, producing 69 PS and 57.5 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox, a bi-directional quickshifter, and a slipper clutch.
