Ethanol Conversion Kits Estimated at ₹15,000 to Facilitate Flex-Fuel Adoption

According to an official from the Indian Sugar Mills Association (ISMA), the cost of converting existing internal combustion engine vehicles to run on higher ethanol blends, such as E85, is estimated to be around ₹15,000. This relatively affordable conversion cost could significantly accelerate the adoption of flex-fuel technology in India. The availability of E85 fuel in major cities like Mumbai, coupled with accessible conversion kits, aims to provide vehicle owners with more sustainable and economical fuel options.
