Tata Motors launched the 2026 Punch facelift in India on January 13, 2026, with an introductory price starting at ₹5.59 lakh (ex-showroom). This significant update for the popular micro-SUV brings refreshed styling, a redesigned cabin, enhanced features, and a new 1.2-liter turbo-petrol engine option. The addition of the turbo-petrol engine, borrowed from the Tata Nexon, produces 120 PS of power and 170 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox, making the Punch more powerful and performance-oriented.
The facelifted Punch boasts new-age features such as a 360-degree camera, Blind View Monitor, an auto-dimming IRVM, and a large 26.03 cm HD touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Safety has also been prioritized, with six airbags now standard across the range, alongside ESC, ABS, TPMS, and ISOFIX child seat anchors. Tata Motors also highlighted the Punch's 5-star BNCAP safety rating and its unique offering of a CNG-AMT combination, making it the first SUV in India with this feature.
