Tata Motors has officially launched the facelifted 2026 Punch EV in India, bringing a series of subtle yet impactful updates to its popular electric micro-SUV. The refresh includes minor cosmetic tweaks to the exterior, such as an updated fascia and connected taillights, alongside a selection of new color options to enhance its contemporary appeal.
Beyond aesthetics, the updated Punch EV features crucial mechanical enhancements, most notably significantly larger battery packs that deliver improved driving range. This makes the vehicle a more practical option for daily commutes and longer journeys. The model also boasts an increase in ground clearance to 195 mm, a slight bump of about 5 mm.
Despite these upgrades, Tata Motors has managed to introduce the refreshed Punch EV with a competitive pricing strategy. The price range has been reduced by approximately Rs 2.5-3 lakh, now starting from Rs 9.69 lakh (ex-showroom) with the battery included, and Rs 6.49 lakh with Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) pricing.
