Royal Enfield has officially entered the 250cc motorcycle segment with the launch of the Royal Enfield 250 for the 2026 model year. This new motorcycle blends the brand's timeless design with modern performance, aiming to attract new riders while maintaining the classic Royal Enfield essence.
The Royal Enfield 250 retains traditional design elements such as a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, a round headlamp, and chrome accents, reminiscent of the Classic series but with a lighter, more manageable feel. It will be available in dual-tone paint options with pinstripes. Powering the bike is a new 249cc air-oil-cooled single-cylinder engine, producing around 20.5 PS and 22 Nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed gearbox tuned for smooth mid-range performance and fuel efficiency.
Modern features include LED lighting, a digital-analog meter, dual-channel ABS for enhanced safety, and a USB charging port. Bluetooth connectivity will also be offered as an option. The new 250 is designed for comfort, easy rideability, and everyday use, combining vintage charm with contemporary technology.
