The Norton Atlas middleweight adventure motorcycle is continuing its road testing in India, signaling its impending launch around September 2026. Unlike the Norton Manx R superbike, which will be a direct import, the Atlas will be entirely manufactured in India at TVS Motor Company's Hosur factory. Recent spy images show the Atlas in camouflage, revealing key design elements such as LED DRLs, a large windscreen, and golden USD front forks.
The Atlas is expected to feature a 585cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled petrol engine, anticipated to produce around 70 bhp, paired with a 6-speed gearbox and a slip-and-assist clutch. A bi-directional quickshifter might also be offered as an option. The standard version will come with 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wire-spoke wheels, while a road-biased GT variant will sport 17-inch alloy wheels. The Atlas is expected to be priced between Rs 6 lakh and Rs 6.70 lakh, offering five distinct color options.
