Maruti Suzuki and Toyota Announce Joint Recall for Fuel Sensor Glitch

Maruti Suzuki has initiated a recall affecting over 39,000 units of its Grand Vitara SUV, alongside its rebadged counterpart, the Toyota Hyryder. The recall addresses a manufacturing defect concerning a faulty fuel-level indicator and an inaccurate low-fuel warning light. While the issue does not compromise the vehicle's safety or performance, it can lead to incorrect fuel readings, potentially inconveniencing owners.

Both Maruti Suzuki and Toyota have advised affected vehicle owners to bring their SUVs to authorized service centers for inspection and necessary rectification of the instrument cluster. This proactive measure aims to ensure accurate fuel information for drivers and maintain customer satisfaction.
