The incident occurred on Thursday night when a speedboat carrying Raymond MD Gautam Singhania and Singh overturned. While Singhania sustained minor injuries and has since returned to Mumbai, Singh and another individual remain unaccounted for.
Shashi Pal Singh Garcha, President of the Chandigarh Motorsports Association, confirmed that search operations for Singh were suspended late Friday evening due to darkness. Reports indicate that seven people were aboard the speedboat when it capsized near Felidhoo. Hari Singh holds the distinction of being the first Indian to win the Asia Zone Rally Championship and currently oversees operations for JK Tyre Motorsport.
