Analysts from JATO Dynamics, an automotive intelligence firm, indicate that when adjusted for the fewer effective selling days in April, the underlying demand remains stable and consistent with seasonal norms. Petrol vehicles continue to dominate sales, especially in entry-level and compact SUV segments, while hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs) are gaining popularity as a bridge between conventional and fully electric options.
