This figure represents a 3.69% increase month-over-month. From a yearly perspective, the sector has shown remarkable progress, with total sales reaching 1,048,168 units till July this year, marking a substantial 46.68% improvement over the same period in 2025.
TVS iQube continued to lead the segment, recording 49,555 units sold in July, an increase of 16.21% from June. Bajaj Auto secured the second position with 40,378 units, while Ather Energy held the third spot with 27,448 units. The steady expansion of the electric scooter market is largely driven by increasing concerns over E20 fuel and a wider array of available models, pushing more everyday commuters towards eco-friendly mobility solutions.
