Harley-Davidson has expanded its entry-level X440 motorcycle series in India with the introduction of the new X440 T variant, priced at ₹2.79 lakh (ex-showroom). This new model, launched on December 8, 2025, positions itself as the flagship within the X440 lineup, replacing the previous top 'S' variant. It brings significant technological enhancements and a refreshed design to the popular 440cc platform developed in partnership with Hero MotoCorp.
Key upgrades in the X440 T include a ride-by-wire throttle system, which enables two selectable ride modes: Road and Rain. Furthermore, the motorcycle features switchable traction control and switchable rear ABS, offering riders greater control and adaptability to varying road conditions. A segment-first panic braking alert system, which rapidly flashes all indicators during sudden deceleration, adds an extra layer of safety for riders on busy Indian roads.
Beyond the technological advancements, the X440 T also sports a redesigned tail section, addressing previous feedback regarding the standard model's bulkier rear. This results in a sleeker, more modern aesthetic and improved pillion comfort with updated grab rails. While the design and feature list see major updates, the X440 T retains the proven 440cc air/oil-cooled engine, producing 27bhp and 38Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed gearbox, ensuring consistent performance for both city commutes and highway rides.
