BMW Motorrad has officially launched its highly anticipated F 450 GS adventure motorcycle in India today, April 23, 2026. Manufactured locally in collaboration with TVS Motor Company at their Hosur facility, the F 450 GS is powered by a new 420cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine, delivering 48 hp and 43 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox. It boasts a claimed road-ready weight of 178 kg, making it lighter and more agile than larger adventure bikes. The motorcycle will be available in four variants: Basic, Exclusive, Sport, and the top-spec GS Trophy, with bookings already open and deliveries expected to commence next month.
