The eAuto fuel pump assembly covers the complete TVS Apache RTR 160 4V lineup — from the original BS4 FI launch in March 2018 through all current BS6 variants. The RTR 160 4V was Apache's first 160cc model to offer fuel injection from day one (BS4 FI disc variant), and all variants across both BS4 and BS6 share the same fuel tank architecture and pump specifications. This includes ABS, non-ABS, dual-disc, single-disc, Black Edition, Bluetooth and USD fork variants. Every eAuto unit is tested for correct fuel pressure output and electrical function before dispatch from eAuto.co.in.

⚠️ When to Replace
If your TVS Apache RTR 160 4V is showing any of these symptoms, the fuel pump assembly may need replacement. The 4V engine's oil-cooled design runs hotter under stop-and-go conditions, which can accelerate strainer wear on city-ridden bikes.
🔩 Installation Notes
Tank Access: The fuel pump is located inside the fuel tank on the RTR 160 4V. Tank removal is required — follow the procedure in the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V service manual for your year.
BS4 vs BS6: The RTR 160 4V launched in BS4 FI trim in 2018 — unlike the 2V which was carb until BS6. The BS6 transition in 2020 updated emission calibration but did not change the fuel tank or pump architecture. The eAuto assembly covers both BS4 FI and BS6 variants.
USD Forks Variant (2024 onwards): The USD fork variant received upgraded suspension but the fuel system remains unchanged. The eAuto assembly fits the USD fork variant identically.
ABS Note: The ABS system on the RTR 160 4V operates on the brake hydraulic circuit — it is entirely separate from the fuel delivery system. Replacing the fuel pump does not affect ABS function.
❓ FAQ
A: Yes. All RTR 160 4V variants — Standard, Black Edition, Bluetooth/TFT cluster, Dual Disc ABS, and USD fork — use the same fuel tank and pump. The eAuto assembly fits them all.
A: Yes. The 2018 BS4 FI variant was the first RTR 160 4V. The eAuto assembly covers BS4 FI (2018–2019) and BS6 (2020–Present) variants.
A: The RTR 160 4V was sold in disc brake (FI) and drum brake (carb) variants in some markets during BS4. If your bike has a carburettor, it does not have a fuel pump. Only FI-equipped variants need this assembly.
A: Yes. The 4V uses an oil-cooled engine with a different fuel tank design compared to the air-cooled 2V. They require separate eAuto assemblies — make sure you select the correct product for your model.
