Glamour FI (2006-2014)
Glamour FI Hero Honda (2006-2012)
Glamour FI Hero MotoCorp (2012-2014)
This assembly is for the original Hero Honda Glamour FI — the first generation Glamour with Programmed Fuel Injection, launched in 2006 on a tubular double-cradle chassis. This is a completely different motorcycle from the BS6 Glamour (Jan 2020) which uses a diamond frame and a different pump (OEM: 16700-AAN-B02). If your Glamour was purchased before 2014, this is the correct pump. Every unit is tested for correct fuel pressure and electrical function before dispatch from eAuto.co.in.

❓ FAQ
A: The easiest check is the chassis. Old Glamour FI (pre-2014) has a tubular double-cradle frame — the engine is visible with tubes running around it. The BS6 Glamour (Jan 2020+) has a diamond frame that partially encloses the engine. If you bought the bike before 2014, this is your pump. If you bought it from 2020 onward, you need OEM 16700-AAN-B02 (listed separately on eAuto.co.in).
A: Yes. When the Hero-Honda joint venture ended in 2012, Hero rebranded but the Glamour FI mechanical spec was unchanged until the carburettor BS4 replaced it. This pump (16700-KTR-941) fits both the Hero Honda and Hero MotoCorp badged FI Glamour.
A: Carb models have no fuel pump. Hero replaced the FI Glamour with a carburettor BS4 variant around 2014–2015, then moved back to FI with the fully redesigned BS6 Glamour in January 2020. If your bike is from 2014–2019 and is a carb model, no fuel pump is needed.
A: eAuto.co.in पर पुराने Hero Honda Glamour FI (2006–2014) के लिए फ्यूल पंप असेंबली उपलब्ध है। OEM Ref: 16700-KTR-941. Free shipping और COD। यह BS6 Glamour के pump से अलग है। | Available at eAuto.co.in pan-India.
A: No — they are completely different parts for completely different motorcycle generations. This listing (OEM: 16700-KTR-941) is for the original 2006–2014 tubular-frame Glamour FI. The BS6 Glamour (Jan 2020+) uses OEM 16700-AAN-B02 and is listed separately. Do not interchange.
⚠️ When to Replace
The Glamour FI is now 10–18 years old depending on model year. These older FI bikes develop fuel pump issues more frequently as the pump motor and strainer age together.
🔩 Installation Notes
Tank Access: The Glamour FI uses an in-tank pump. Drain the tank fully and remove it from the bike before accessing the pump unit. The pump ring nut can be seized on older bikes — use a proper spanner rather than improvised tools to avoid damaging the tank.
Confirm Your Model Year: Before fitting, confirm your bike is the pre-2014 tubular-frame Glamour FI — not the BS4 carb model or the BS6 diamond-frame version. The part numbers differ and the assemblies are not interchangeable.
Wiring Connector: Check the wiring connector condition during removal — connectors on older bikes often have corrosion at the pump socket. Clean or replace the connector if any corrosion is visible to avoid poor contact with the new pump.
Tank Flush: If the bike has old or stale fuel residue in the tank, flush it thoroughly before fitting the new assembly. Varnish deposits will clog the new strainer within weeks if not removed.
