MG Motor India is preparing to launch its third premium electric vehicle, the IM6 electric SUV, in the Indian market later this year. This new model will be exclusively sold through MG's premium 'Select' dealerships, which currently offer the MG Cyberster electric sportscar and MG M9 electric MPV. The IM6 electric SUV was previously showcased at the Indian Mobility Auto Expo in 2025.
The IM6 is part of the IM electric brand portfolio, owned by SAIC Motor, a strategic partner of JSW Group, which holds a majority share in MG India. Measuring 4,904 mm in length, 1,988 mm in width, and 1,669 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,950 mm, the IM6 is set to be a significant offering in India's electric SUV segment. Its design includes large petal-style alloy wheels, flush door handles, and Aston Martin DBX-style rear LED taillights.
